In my experience with photography, sometimes very little is required of me. Sometimes, it’s simply about observing a scene and letting it unfold it's just about being at the right place, at the right time. Nature puts on its own glorious display, and the only thing we can do is observe. This was one of those moments. With the sun setting behind Mt. Moran, the last rays of light filled the valley. & I couldn't believe my eyes. The sun was resting behind a set of clouds, which enabled me to shoot directly into the sun & capture the rays being cast down onto the valley. The word that kept coming to mind as I was shooting was, “splendor.”
